Cogenhoe`s Y2K monument is located at a road junction in the middle of the village. It consists of a brick pillar bearing a series of plaques. These illustrate industry in the community over the centuries. They show a medieval packhorse driver, a brick maker, a cobbler & a motor coach. A post rising from the pillar supports an image of the village church (St. Peter`s).
A time-capsule buried under the monument contains items chosen by pupils from the village school.
