The church is 15th century. Sadly church was burnt down in 1957. It was rebuilt on a smaller scale with out the north aisle, the foundations of which can still be seen in the churchyard. There was some interesting stained glass in the windows which was also destroyed. The church has the usual large tower at the west end. The tower contains a peel of six bell.
