Found near Trident, Montana while searching the rounded crest of a north-south running ridge for the Missouri River Commission (MORC) Cedar Hill Triangulation point set by the Army in 1889.

The stone is one foot northeast of a steel fence post witness post. An unknown survey monument, a one foot square 3 1/2 inch thick concrete block with a one inch pipe protruding six inches and inscribed with a large triangle and "65" is about 100 yards south at N45 56 46.1, W111 27 51.6.

The Cedar Hill mark, a 3/8 copper bolt in the native limestone rock was not found. still too much drifted snow.
