I have worked at Amana since 1986. The company was owned by Raytheon at that time. Since then it has changed hands a few times. It has been owned by Goodman Holding Company, in Texas, Maytag, in Iowa, and currently by Whirlpool in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

When I started, several products were made at this facility. Chest freezers, refrigerators, and RadarRanges were the main products. We primarily make Bottom Freezer refrigerators now.
