The labyrinth is part of several enlightening features around the lake. Nearby is the Peace Pagoda, Stone Circle and Buddhist Temple.

It was made in 1985 and is a similar design to an ancient turf maze at Saffron Walden in Essex. In the centre is an oak tree as a symbol of peace.
