Most trigpoints out there are built of concrete, but this is one of the rarer type constructed from local stone. Like several others in the area, it is accompanied by a large cairn.
There is a car park at SS911477, suitable for those fancying an easy walk. Be aware that there is no access to this road without going through Minehead. Alternatively, you can park in Selworthy village. if you do, I'd recommend approaching the village from the west, leaving the A39 at SS912463. There is an 'Unsuitable for motors' sign on the road which leaves the village to the east.
Type of Trigpoint: Triangulation Pillar
 Condition: Good
 Number on Flush Bracket: S3944
