This mark is located on the corner of what used to the Chester Public Market Building, but now houses a number of well known High Street Shops.
The mark is located at the entrance of a small alley leading to Hamilton Place. This Cut mark does not appear to be in the current OS database, it is however shown on an 1908 map of the area as BM 94.61.
