There are two signs, one in Welsh and one in English reading as follows:

IN THE NEOLITHIC AGE 2500 -
1900 B.C. FOR THE COMMUNAL
BURIAL OF THE DEAD AND WAS
ORIGINALLY COVERED BY A
MOUND OF STONES.
IT IS OF SIMILAR DESIGN TO THE
LONG CAIRNS OF SOUTH EAST
WALES AND THE COTSWOLDS.'
