The Rose Tech chapter house on Rose-Hulman is built in the shape of a "T" when viewed from above. It houses roughly 80 men who are pursuing scientific careers.

Triangle Fratenity is a national Greek organization with a non-Greek letter name. Per the national website (http://www.triangle.org/), "Triangle limits its membership to students majoring in engineering, architecture, and the sciences. Thus, Triangle is unique in the North-American Interfraternity Conference, being the only member fraternity that selects its membership from these majors. This is done to draw together outstanding men with similar course work and career goals." The local Rose Tech chapter (http://www.rose-triangle.org/) was formed in 1968 just before Rose Polytechnic Institute was endowed by the Hulman family, thus renamed Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. This chapter house was my home for three years in the early 80's. It was rapidly constructed in the shape of a "T" (check out Google satellite image) to get on campus. The house continues to have physical challenges due to this too quick of construction. One thing I really believe I learned from fraternity life was how to clean up after others - which prepared me for a wife and teenagers.
The chapter house is being repaired from some flooding damage occuring during summer 2008.
