The Paterson River peaked at 7.01m (23 feet) in Paterson itself (approx 10Km upstream from here) and the Victoria Pub had 1.4m of water in it. The pictures shows the Paterson River bridge (WM5D9M & WM5D9N) nearby. Whilst I didn't measure the height of the marker, I guess it to be over 2.0m on the post. This marker has been placed here by the Public Works Department of NSW.
