A light sculpture located at the NE corner of 1st Street and Jackson Street in downtown Ft. Myers, Florida in front of the historic Florida Federal Building (now the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center).

This light sculpture was completed in 2001 and was created by Jim Sandborn. The nearby plaque states, in part: "From 1927-1931 Thomas A. Edison studied and tested 13,000-17,000 species of plants for their suitability in the manufacture of a domestic source of rubber. The plants listed (in Latin) on this cylinder were collected in the Fort Myers area and throughout the state of Florida. A listing of the English common names of these plant is as follows: ..."
