This old home site with in Buffalo National Park was settled by Solomon "Sod" Collier and his family, who were among the last pioneers, those 20th century settlers who claimed the few remaining lands opened up by the Homestead Act of 1862.Tread lightly and bring your camera, if you follow the trail even further you will see many nice views of the Buffalo River area...There is no actual cache container here as this cache is located in a National Park...I discussed this cache with the National Park Officer in the Tyler Bend visitor center and was told it is ok to do this cache as long as not material items are left at the site...Park here : N 35.58.517 W 092.45.934
