The Boer War Memorial statue is located on the grounds of the Nova Scotia Province House in downtown Halifax. The City of Halifax logs this as simply: 'Statue - Memorial - Boer War - "Soldier"'

The plaque at the base of the statue says that this memorial was dedicated by the Duke of Cornwell and York on 19-October-1901.

The marking on the memorial:
Erected by the people of Nova Scotia in honour of those who served and in memory of those who fell in the South African Campaign 1888-1902.
