One of the few south-reclining sundials in Brazil with lines of solstices, situated within the Atlantic Forest, at the museum Oficina Cerâmica Francisco Brennand. Designed by the architect Fernando Almeida and inaugurated on Dec 8th 2006. Indicates solar time from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. With its main surface made of white frosted marble, hour lines are furrows that rise from the junction of the pure white marble plates. Its gnomon is made of bronze, designed by the architect and executed by the artist Jobson Figueiredo. Settled beneath the Atlantic Forest, it was planned also as an landscape overlook place.
Um dos poucos relógios solares de reclinação Sul no Brasil com linhas dos solstícios, situado em meio à Mata Atlântica, no Museu Oficina Cerâmica Francisco Brennand. Projetado pelo arquiteto Fernando Almeida e inaugurado em 8 de dezembro de 2006. Indica a hora solar das 8:00h às 17:00h. Sua superfície superior é de mármore branco fosco, e as linhas das horas são sulcos conformados pela junção das placas de mármore. O seu gnômon é feito em bronze, desenhado pelo arquiteto e executado pelo artista plástico Jobson Figueiredo. Dada a sua localização, este relógio também foi planejado como ponto mirante.
