Pirámide de Mayo is located in the center of the Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The monument celebrates the anniversary of the May revolution in 1810. Inaugurated on 25-May-1811, it was designed by Pedro Vicente Cañete and stands 18.76 meters tall. The top of the Pyramid is a statue by Joseph Dubourdieu said to symbolize liberty.
