The Harvester Christian Church is very active in the community. The church has expanded greatly in the the last few years with now about 3000 people attending weekly. The church is known for its annual "A Journey to Bethlehem" which is an outdoor depiction of the Christmas story, each year several thousand of people attend the program. (an indication of the number of people attending the program is that they prepare 3,000 dozen cookies to be given out)
