When the fire station had closed down, Robert and Bonnie Hall bought the run down soon to be destroyed building, and turned it into a beautiful restaurant. Little did they know they weren’t the only ones to call this restaurant their second home.

Rumor has it that back in the 1900’s a fire fighter named Frank Hurd had committed suicide in the station’s bell tower. Frank Hurd was the very first full-time fire fighter in
Derry. Frank had to spend his nights all alone manning his post. Why Frank may have committed suicide is a mystery however, there are two theories. One theory is that since he was always on call at
the fire house it caused much strain on his marriage, and he couldn’t handle all the pressure from both his job and his family life. Another theory is that he was unsuccessful in saving children that had perished in a factory fire while he was on call. The guilt of not being able to rescue them was more than he could bear with, thus he ended his own life. However, there are no valid documents backing up
these theories, so Frank’s death is still a mystery.
Results of Investigation:
During our St. Patrick's Day investigation, we were able to capture one photograph of
paranormal activity. This picture was taken at 10:13pm in the car area near the kitchen. The
picture is a dark shadow sitting down listening(?) to the bagpiper play. We were able to rule out
any possible "live human shadows" due to the fact that this "shadow" is transparent. We also
encountered two types of paranormal events throughout the night. Therefore, with all the
evidence reviewed and captured "Ghost Hunters United" can claim with hard-copy evidence that
the "FireHall Pub& Grille in Derry, NH" IS in face haunted. Ghost Hunters United believes that
there is only ONE spirit in this location based on their hard-copy evidence as well as psychic
impressions. This spirit is NOT to be feared, and from what impressions Kuri go from him, he is
happy to be sharing his space with the new occupants.
The restaurant has since gone out of business so maybe there is something about the haunting!!
