Mike’s Mild Ale and Mountain Lager are from White Cliffs Organic Brewery in Taranaki, New Zealand. First brewed in 1989, Mike’s Mild Ale is one of New Zealand’s most respected handcrafted-brewed dark beers, whilst the premium Mountain Lager is proving hugely popular with its full malt flavour the country through.
Only the very best organically grown and certified ingredients are sought to create these organic brews: New Zealand grown hops from Nelson and organic malts from Germany. Pure water from the North West and received straight from the clouds off the Tasman Sea. The chosen yeasts are traditional Ale and Lager yeasts.
Situated 4kms north of Urenui Village, look out for the giant beer bottle. Visitors are welcome for Tours and Sales. Staff can give you a quick tour of the facilities before selling you a few bottles.
