Palacio del Congreso is where the Congreso de la Nación Argentina meets. The Congreso sits on the Western end of the Avenida de Mayo.

This greco-roman style building was designed by Vittorio Meano and constructed from 1898 and 1906. The building's copper clad dome stands 80 meters tall. At the front of the building sits the Plaza del Congreso, with many distinctive monuments and beautiful public spaces. A nice walk for a visitor would be to continue East along Avenida de Mayo all the way to the Plaza de Mayo and see the famous Casa Rosada (Pink House).

There are two formal addresses for the Palacio del Congreso: one for the House of Deputies and the other is for the Senate. The building itself is on a block at the intersection formed by Avenida Rivadavia, Combate de Los Pozos, Avenida Entre Ríos and Hipólito Yrigoyen Streets. My guide book says the entrance is at Entre Ríos and Combate de Los Pozos streets.
