Set flush into the front wall of a house on the quiet road into Great Oakley village. My OS map still has this marked as a Post Office, but it looks to have been a private residence for quite some time.

The post box is fitted flush into the wall of a row of small cottages that are situated on the road to Brooklyn Farm in Great Oakley.
Condition of the box: Good/Average/Poor: Good
Is this post box still in use?: Yes
Is VR embossed on the post box or is it an "anonymous" box?: Yes
Any other embossed lettering, such as manufacturer?: "Letter Box" and "Post office" are embossed into the front casting, along with the letters VR either side of crown.
