This small storefront is mixed in with the antique shops and small cafes in historic downtown San Juan. San Benito county is the only source for the semi-precious gem Benitoite, and is also a source for agates, jadeite and cinnabar, to name a few of 150 minerals known to occur in the area. The original owners of Tops were a couple of rock hounds. The new owner is more interested in "rock medicine" aka crystal healing, but still sells local specimens. There are no unfinished boxes of rocks here.
