The sign reads:
"This grader was used to smooth out the road and farm lane in the Klineschmidt property. The grader could be operated by one person turning the several control wheels, which are painted green, and another person pulling it with a steam engine or tractor. The grader itself is just over 100 years old, and was purchased by the Klineschmidt family in the earlt 1930's from the Washtenaw County road comission. The grader was a gift to the Webster Historical Society by Paul and Elzabeth Klineschmidt."
