The Baptist church in the middle of the town at Millom was designed to hold a congregation of 280.
The church holds a coffee morning every Tuesday from 10am to 12 noon.
The solidly built church built in 1884 looks slightly out of place amongst buildings of a more modern age,but nevertheless it is of a fine sandstone construction.
The dated stone at front of the building is hard to read but reads The 9th.of August 1884.
