Wayne County Surveying & Remonumentation Project
Wayne County, Michigan

Since 2001, HEI's Surveying Department has been assisting Giffels-Webster Engineers with the Surveying and Remonumentation Project for Wayne County, Michigan. The City of Detroit is the oldest incorporated city in the Midwest and one of the oldest cities in the United States. HEI is pleased to lend our surveying support to Giffels-Webster and also enjoy the opportunity to help preserve historical landmark information that comprises part of Michigan's history.

Survey services– Although HEI will be surveying section corners throughout 2006 and 2007, for the previous 2 years, HEI has been focusing on the SW side of the City of Detroit beginning at historic Fort Wayne and continuing northerly surveying the Private Claims along the Detroit and Rouge Rivers.
