"Within the garden are several granite monuments commemorating submarines lost during World War II and the Cold War.
Also within the garden is a carving of a dolphin made from black Canadian granite, the dolphin being the symbol of the submarine service. Several granite benches allow visitors to sit and contemplate the sacrifices made by those who choose to support and defend their country as a member of the Silent Service."

The park is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day from Memorial Day to Columbus Day.
WINTER HOURS
The park is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday through Monday from Columbus Day to Memorial Day.
