Tottlebank Baptist church is also known as "The church beyond the sands" the sands being those of Morecambe Bay.
The church also enjoys the distinction of being the oldest Baptist church in Cumbria.
The church is a single story structure,also of interest is the church burial ground opposite,which is well worth visiting to read the very old headstones,some of which are written in Old English writing.
The church can be found I mile from Pennybridge village and 5 miles from the town of Ulverston.
