Tottlebank Baptist church is a single story building, set amidst rolling fields of sheep, and in an isolated yet very tranquil position, the church can be found 5 miles from the town of Ulverston and 1 mile from Greenodd village.
The church is traditionally known as "The church beyond the sands",presumably the "sands" refer to nearby Morecambe Bay.
Opposite the church is the church burial ground, and worth a visit to view the very old headstones, some in Old English writing, they make fascinating reading.
