This is one of a series of 4 huts/yurts in the trail system, and is easily accessible year-round. In non-snowy months, you could drive right up to it, and in the winter, you could access it via snowshoes or skis along a logging road (about 4 easy miles in). The only required fee is a $5/person permit.
