This old drinking fountain outside the Church of St Sepulchre, opposite the Old Bailey in London

The chained cups for drinking are still present but the water supply is not.

It is inscribed

THE GIFT OF SAM GURNEY MP 1859
The first metropolitan public drinking fountain erected on Holborn Bridge in 1859 and removed when the Viaduct was constructed 1867.
