This is the Chickadee Trailhead and 3 Cross Country Ski Trails, Chickadee(4 km), Bluestem(14 km) and Aspen(6.7 km), meet here. All trails are groomed and double tracked.

A fee is required to enter the Provincial Park ($28 a year or $7 for 3 days) but there is no separate fee for the ski trails.
~ from the website ~ Explore the 30-km (18.6-mi.) cross-country ski/hiking/horseback riding trail system. Groomed for skiing in the winter and marked for hiking and riding in the summer, this system of trails criss-crosses Birds Hill's backcountry. The six trails vary from 4 to 14 km (2.5 to 8.8 mi.) in length and are designed for novice to intermediate skiers. Shelters with wood stoves and firewood have been provided along several of the trails. Trailheads are at the riding stable restaurant and at the Chickadee Trail parking lot.
