DEDHT GPS NC-4, DE, is a Delaware Division of Highways survey disk located at the intersection of State Route 1 and State Route 420 in Boyd's Corner, DE. It is in the NGS database at PID = AJ8040: (
visit link) . The disk is mounted in the top of a 1.6-foot concrete monument and is flush with the surface. It is 68.7 feet south of the centerline of the eastbound lanes of State Route 420 (Pole Bridge Road), 31 feet west of the centerline of the off-ramp from State Route 1 northbound, and 2.8 feet south-southeast of an orange Carsonite witness post. The disk is stamped GPS NC-4 2000. To reach from Exit 4 from Interstate Highway 95 in Christiana, DE, go south on State Route 1 for about 13.5 miles to the exit for State Route 420 (Pole Bridge Road) and State Route 896 (Boyd's Corner Road). At the top of the exit ramp, turn left and go east on SR420/SR896 for about 230 yards to the top of the northbound off-ramp and the disk on the right. NOTE: The east-west running road that passes over State Route 1 is named SR896/Boyd's Corner Road on the west side of SR1 and SR420/Pole Bridge Road on the east side.
