This copy is from the original bronze statue in Whitehall Place, London. The Royal Tank Regiment's Colonel in Chief, Her Majesty the Queen unveiled the London statue in 2000.

The statue shows a Comet Tank crew and is a permanent memorial to those who have served in The Royal Tank Regiment and its antecendents.
