These pictures of the Providence skyline were taken near the Providence Place Mall and the Rhode Island State House. The foreground in some of the pictures is the Providence River (also known as the Woonasquatucket River).
The featured buildings are 15 Westminster Street (RISD Mandle Building), One Financial Plaza, 50 Kennedy Plaza, Bank of America Building (left to right, roughly). The orange/red buildings with green roofs in the foreground are rehabbed buildings from the former Providence Union Station.
I also added a few shots of the same downtown area, but from the top of the Roger Williams Memorial, located near the RISD / Brown campus.
