Katoomba Scenic Skyway - Aerial Lifts on Waymarking.com

The Katoomba Skyway takes you on a 6 minute long, 385 metre ride (one way, double if you're doing a round trip) across the Jameson Valley. The Skyway cabin holds 76 people. It departs from Scenic World, and disembarks on the other side of the gorge. People can either take a return trip, or walk on tracks that lead to Echo Point nearby.

The ride is 225 metres above the ravines below. The Skyway features an Electro-Sceni glass floor (electrostatic glass). This allows the floor to be opaque until a switch is flipped, and then the floor is see through, allowing passengers to look straight down at the view below them. This is the world's first Electro-Sceni glass floor.

Views include: The Jamison Valley, Katoomba Falls, The Three Sisters, and Mount Solitary.
