Grange Arch was built around 1745 by a Mr Denis Bond, the owner of Creech Grange in the bottom of the valley, presumably to enhance the view from the house. Another member of the family, Thomas Bond, was responsible for building Bond Street in London. It is constructed from the wonderful Purbeck stone.

Access to the arch is along a footpath running from the Creech Barrow Viewpoint car park.
Type: Triumphal (Monument/Memorial)

Subtype: Other

Location: Purbeck Hills - along a public footpath
