The Holy trinity church here at Bolton Le Sands was founded in 1094,and was originally dedicated to St.Michael.
The church is in the perpendicular style consisting of a chancel,nave,North aisle,South porch,and an embattled Western tower,containing a clock and 3 bells,the oldest portion of the present church is the tower built around 1500. the naive and chancel were rebuilt in 1813.
