L'architecte Jean Bullant y a tres certainement contribute.

[EN] The church counts among the most important monuments of Ecouen. It is the only church in France devoted to Saint Acceul, evangelist from Langedoc.

Based on very ancient foundation (sic), this 36 meters (118 ft) long building was rebuilt as from 1536. Jean Bullant, architect, has probably collaborated to it (sic).

Don't miss :

The true treasure of the church is composed of a unit of 16th century stained glass. They are some of the most beautiful of their kind in France!

For most of them, they take their inspiration from the life of Mary, with a very clear influence from the Italian school. The great church windows represent the constable of Montmorency, patron of the church's heart (sic), his spouse Madeleine de Savoie and their children.

"The arm armed with the sword", located in several parts of the church, on the front part of the church's heart's (sic) ceiling, symbolises the high profile of the Kingdom's Constable.
