The following is a quote of my traveller diary, regarding the visit to this museum:
"As in the Military Museum, there is no entrance fee. You take the metro, then a bus and you have the luxury of a stop with the museum name. Well, the exhibition is a little messy, with airplanes over airplanes forming somethinh like a giant jigsaw of wings and tails.
People working there will watch carefully the visitor, like we are potential terrorists and that atittude may be annoying. In the other hand, a shortage in the labour force will make you find some of the hangars closed... until other is empty of visitors and the employee free for switching positions.
I don't regret my visit but it wasn't one of the highligth of my journey Prague 2006."
The museum is open in the summer season, from May till October, every day except Monday from 9.30 AM to 6 PM.
Admission is free of charge.
To get to the museum, take bus No. 110, 185, 259 or 280 from Ceskomoravská underground station (stop Letecké museum).
