This benchmark was 151.4270 metres above sea-level(Newlyn datum). It was last verified over fifty years ago in 1949 and was originally 1.2 metres above ground level. This benchmark and bolt originates from the First primary levelling and dates from 1849. It was number forty-five on the branch line from the Tavistock to Liskeard line. The benchmark was 497.350 ft above sea level at Liverpool in 1849.
