Samson State Park, near Ovid, New York, is home to the Samson Air Force and Navy Veterans Museum. The state park was the original site of Samson Air Force Base for many years.

It also served as a Naval training base before being decommissioned and turned over to New York State to become a State Park. In one of the remaining buildings, originally the brig, is the Navy and Air Force museum.

On the grounds of the museum are two small boats on permanent display, along with two static aircraft. There are no plaques or signs located at these outdoor displays to help in identifying what type of boat they are or their original use. NOTE: There is an entrance fee to visit the Samson State Park, at last visit, it was $7.00 per vehicle to enter the park.
