On top of the old control tower, this was one of the radars that was decommissioned when the National Weather Service went to the new Doppler system.

Closed on September 1, 1994, Connecticut now relies on Albany, NY, Taunton, MA and Brookhaven, Long Island, NY for its radar data. Temperature, wind and barometric pressure readings are still taken at the airport.
