Rhossili Millennium Stone - Gower, Walkes, UK - Made for the Millennium on Waymarking.com

The plaque on this stone reads:-
This stone was eroded by the people of Rhosili to commemorate the year 2000AD. It is naturally formed old red sandstone coglomerate and came from high on Rhossili Down. Erected on the Green by kind permission of the Penrice Estate.
The picture was talken on the day that the trawler Bruno was beached on the sands - maybe it can just be seen on the right of the stone.
