The two year old (June 2006) Children's Garden is a wonderful place to visit and explore. A lot of thought went into making this a place children of all ages would enjoy. There are mazes, bronze sculptures of children, storybook places, a space garden, and many other artistically created special areas. This sign is located outside the exit of the Butterfly Garden and Nature Center, also built in June 2006.
You must pay admission to the Botanical Gardens in order to visit the Children's Garden, but the price is worth all that you get for one admission price. The complete botanical gardens, butterfly house and nature center, children's garden, a beautiful lake, etc. Truly it is a very peaceful spot to spend a few hours or a day.

Members: Free
Adults: $10
Children 3-18: $5
Children 2 and under: Free
Seniors (55+) & military personnel: $8
Sales tax will be added to all admission fees.

May-September
Monday-Saturday: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
Sunday: 12-6 p.m.
October-April
Monday-Saturday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sunday: 12-5 p.m.
The Garden is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
