Jyppyrä Fell overlooks the village of Hetta and has fine views towards the Pallastunturi national park [3]

It is easily reached by footpath from the Nature Centre in Hetta, which has a very interesting museum devoted to the Sami people and way of life. [2]

The Hill is said to have been the site of a seita or sacrificial stone of the Sami people[4].
