Playa Los Cerritos is a popular spot for surfers. It is about 10 miles south of Todos Santos. It can be easy to miss, as the entrance is an unmarked dirt road off of the highway, which ends in the ocean.
The beach has somewhat of a curve, and feels protected by the hills on the sides. People park close to the beach, which makes it feel like they are the beach without technically breaking the law about no vehicles on the beach. There are lots of off road-type vehicles, RV's, and regular cars. There are some beach huts to provide shelter.
Over the past few years the beach has become popular with developers and the area is losing its remote, undiscovered feel.
As with all beaches along this area of the Pacific Ocean, be aware of the posted warnings about swimming. There can be very dangerous undertows.
