Kings Mead Windmill is located in Whatlington Road in battle, East Sussex.
The windmill is a smock mill but is a private residence so it is not easy to take very good photographs of the building.
The co-ordinates given are for the gate to the property.
A footpath runs past the property and takes you to a field at the rear of the proerty.
From the information I have found the mill has had the names Caldbec Mill [it is near Caldbec Hill], Kings Head Mill, Old Mill and Battle Mill over the years but is now known or named Kings Mead Mill.
This mill is a restored octagonal smock mill built in 1805 on the site of a former post mill.
The mill was bought in 1924 when it was unused and converted to a residence.
