Opened in 1975, Old Chicago was an indoor amusement park surrounded by speciality stores in mall setting southwest of Chicago. The park was themed as a Roaring 1920's Chicago.

The park had just about one of everything, a water ride, a roller coaster, a tilt-o-whirl, and ferris wheel.

Mis-management during the construction put the park in early financial straights from which it never recovered. The park was eventually closed in 1980 and was completely demolished in 1986. All that remains is a street sign bearing the name "Old Chicago Drive."
