From the accepted official history of Richford:

The Village Baptist Society was organized in 1872. They built this church on School Street in 1888.

An old picture I found shows a single front door, under the steeple. In place of the current main entrance was a tripytch of stained glass windows. The large circular stained glass window above the current center door appears to be a modification or replacement of the original, which had a flat bottom. The stained glass in the steeple and at the peak have also been altered from the originals.

The name confuses me a bit. In the Richford History, there were three Baptist Societies and churches before this one, dating back to 1802 (the Second and Third arose from disagreements within the respective preceding congregations). Wouldn't this more accurately be called Fourth Baptist?
