Ce repère se situe sur l'obélisque ,qui marque l'entrée de Brunoy sur la RN6 et la porte de la forêt de Sénart.
Appelé Pyramide de Brunoy ,elle fut construite en 1779 par Soufflot, c'était le rendez-vous de chasse du roi Louis XVI.La circulation augmenta sur la route nationale et les accidents posèrent un vrai problème. On décida de déplacer la pyramide ,qui se trouvait toujours au milieu de la grande route. En 1960 on fit faire au monument, un étrange voyage sur rail de 33 mètres 80, à la vitesse de 3 mètres 50 à l’heure. Elle repose maintenant à l’écart.

This landmark is located on the obelisk, which marks the entrance to Brunoy on the RN6 and the door of the forest Sénart.Appelé Pyramid Brunoy, it was built in 1779 by Soufflot, was the appointment of hunting King Louis XVI.La increased traffic on national highway and accidents posed a real problem. It was decided to move the pyramid, which was still in the middle of the highway. In 1960 we did make the monument, a strange rail travel in 33-metre 80, at a speed of 3 to 50 meters per hour. It now rests on the sidelines.
