Grahamstown Dam is the primary water storage for Raymond Terrace and other local small towns. The upper parts of the dam do allow non-powered water sports and fishing, but a large part of the southern end of the dam is completely off limits to all water activities to maintain the water quality for drinking purposes.

The co-ordinates provided take you to the official opening plaque for the dam, and a GC.com (GC1F5AJ) cache that belongs to a mate of mine.
